As a CADET you are a Trainee Paramedic and you will keep this rank until you have completed your first assessment. Typically technicians spend 1 week training and mastering their EMT skills before they progress further.

It is vital you learn the Basic Medical Procedures & Fire Drills to be confident in your ability.

Your roles as a CADET means you will not be out on the road without supervision and a CADET may not spawn any vehicles (other than the ambulance for patient transport). your areas of operation is:

  • Dispatch - You will receive and keep track of all 911 calls and filter these to the team, making sure we keep track of each one and their location.

  • Dispatch Replies - When someone calls 911 you will reply, making sure they know we are on our way and providing basic medical advice to carry out before we arrive.

  • Nursing, treating and providing care for patients in our hospital

  • Patient Transport - Collecting stable patients from the scene to hospital
